More adventures!

Thought I should write an entry... So here goes..

Today was a mile stone in many ways.
Firstly Andrea woke up and said "I have a surprise for you" ...Me thinking wow fresh coffee.... but nope,,she said "I don't feel homesick anymore!"
She never ceases to amaze and surprise me.

I remember how it was for me when I joined the Army all them years ago. You think homesickness will not get to you, that you are above that but in reality it gets to everyone and it hits you suddenly then goes just as quickly as it came and you either survive it or turn tail.

Andrea is no quitter, so it was really nice to hear that she woke up feeling good about the fact that not everything is the same here. So it was a day of onward and upward!

We went into Arnold and Andrea finished opening her HSBC Passport UK Bank Account and was really pleased about that.
She made a new friend of the Branch Manageress talking about everything from the Weather (Shocker) to Politics and so the normal 20 minute account opening session turned into a "Mothers meeting"! hehe Oh well..

I like the bank and the staff attitude so I think Im gonna move my banking there too.
(Besides their accounts are better!)

We spent the afternoon looking for our next home. The lease is almost up on this place and I said at the time that I would not renew because it was temporary and I wanted us to both pick our next home together.
To that end we have shortlisted a few. We are going to see some this week.

We both know what we are looking for in a property and now Andrea has been here a while she has an idea too.

In short.. Farmhouse/Cottage/Barn Conversion/Old Chapel with picturesque views and at least 3 bedrooms.

This is our favourite so far :- Barn Conversion Rural Staffordshire

We then have this one just down the road (2 miles) from where we are currently :-
Farm House, Redhill

The one we love the most is typically the one we can't have due to the fact that the timing sucks!

This is it and if we can get it we will.. So keep your fingers crossed for us!

The Chapel

Ok so, enough ramblings.. Here's a few pictures from the "Posers"

:)

Luke and Andrea on a Double Decker bus heading into Nottingham.

Andrea's Ladyship title and land ownership came though
So its now "Lady Andrea Beth" as long as your in Scotland. If not its just that "Damn woman" lol!!!

Lady Andrea Beth of Kincavel in her natural Scottish habitat, lapping up the Ladyship side of things!

Oh and some weird balding English guy who's name escapes me.
